About the Therapist
Lisette Infante, M.A., LPC – Clinical Director, Atlanta Counseling and Coaching
Lisette Infante is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. She earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in 2009 and currently serves as the Clinical Director of Atlanta Counseling and Coaching.
Lisette specializes in working with individuals diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, and severe depression. Her approach integrates psychoeducation, symptom management, and goal-oriented planning to help clients achieve greater emotional stability and overall well-being. She also works with clients navigating major life transitions, using a supportive and practical framework to help them make decisions and find clarity during uncertain times.
Grounded in person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Lisette creates a space where clients feel both seen and empowered. She’s known for her honest, direct approach—believing that transparency and trust are the cornerstones of a meaningful therapeutic relationship.
Lisette offers therapy in English and understands Spanish, making her accessible to a broader range of clients. She works primarily in the Eastern Time Zone, providing flexibility for clients across the U.S. and internationally. For those located outside the United States, she also offers coaching services—an effective alternative for individuals in countries where therapy from international providers may be restricted. With experience working with clients in Canada, she understands the importance of access and strives to bridge the gap for those facing long waitlists or limited local support.
When she’s not in session, Lisette enjoys spending time with her family, planning her next international adventure, and hanging out with her beloved pets—a playful black Lab and a spunky orange cat—who occasionally make surprise appearances in her remote sessions and bring a little extra warmth to her day.
